Every piece is new, with its original tags. If it ever proves not to be authentic, we refund you in full.

Our commitment

If a piece bought on XLouLou is ever proven not to be authentic, we refund you in full, with no time limit: the price of the piece, the original delivery costs, your authentication fees and your return shipping. The guarantee applies even if the piece has been worn.

How it works

1. Get a written certificate. Have the piece examined by a recognised professional authentication service, and obtain a written certificate concluding that it is not authentic. Opinions without a certificate (a friend, a forum, a social-media comment) cannot be accepted.
2. Contact us at return@xloulou.com with your order number, the certificate and photos of the piece.
3. Send us the piece. We give you a tracked, insured return method. The piece returned must match the one in your order (house reference, serial number or date code where applicable).
4. We verify. Our own independent expert examines the piece. If the result confirms the certificate, you are refunded in full within 14 days.

In case of disagreement

If our expert's conclusion differs from your certificate, a third independent authentication service is appointed and its decision is final. Its fees are paid by the party whose conclusion is not confirmed. If the piece is confirmed authentic, it is sent back to you and the authentication and shipping costs remain at your expense.

Good to know

• The guarantee applies to the original buyer of the piece on XLouLou.
• A piece that does not match the one sold, or that has been altered or repaired outside the brand's network, is not covered.
• XLouLou is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with the brands it sells. Brand names are used solely to describe the pieces.
• This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights, including the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity.
